+- Ran `bun test_menu_comprehensive.ts` successfully in `apps/backend` to verify storing/retrieval of images, route validations on wrong types, database schemas, and MCP tools layer.
+- Verified database schema columns (`rootImage` on Menu, `columnImage` / `hoverImage` on MenuItem) and database migrations.
+- Written verification report in `challenge_report.md`.
