+## 2. Logic Chain
+
+- **Database and API Route Integration**:
+  - The menu and item POST APIs successfully receive payload fields `rootImage`, `columnImage`, and `hoverImage` and write them to the Postgres database using Prisma.
+  - The GET API fetches them accurately, proving database fields exist and are mapped.
+  - The PUT API allows updating them correctly.
+  - The route validators enforce types, returning standard Elysia validation errors when fields violate type properties.
+
+- **MCP Tools Integration**:
+  - The `tools/list` schema for `upsert_menu` has been updated at runtime to expose `rootImage`, `columnImage`, and `hoverImage`.
+  - The tool execution writes these fields correctly to the DB through the backend API.
+  - Tool invalid arguments are caught either by intermediate zod schemas or by API validator delegation, ensuring invalid inputs are rejected.

+## 3. Caveats
+
+- **Theme Compliance**: We verified database storage, APIs, and tool contracts. CSS/HTML visual rendering of these images in the SPA is not checked, as it is outside the scope of Milestone 2 (Backend & DB).
+- **Duplicate Menu Name Constraint**: Duplicate menu creations return 500 error because of unhandled Prisma unique constraint violations (documented as Challenge 1 in `challenge_report.md`).
+- **Static Schema Drift**: Static files under `/home/ti/.gemini/antigravity/mcp/homaroma_mcp/` lack these properties, though the live server dynamically emits correct definitions (documented as Challenge 2 in `challenge_report.md`).

+## 4. Conclusion
+
+All backend API routes, database schemas, and MCP tools correctly support `rootImage`, `columnImage`, and `hoverImage`. All tests passed successfully. The changes are correct, verified, and complete.
