You are Challenger 1 for Milestone 2: Backend & DB. Your working directory is /home/ti/git/homaroma/.agents/challenger_m2_1. Please verify the correctness of the database, API routes, and MCP tools changes:

1. Write a test script or run a command (e.g., executing the existing scratch test menus script, or creating a new test script) to insert a menu with rootImage and menu items with columnImage and hoverImage through the backend API.
2. Query the backend API and verify that these fields are correctly stored and retrieved.
3. Verify that validation errors are thrown for incorrect types.

Write your verification report in /home/ti/git/homaroma/.agents/challenger_m2_1/challenge_report.md. Once finished, send a message back with the result of your verification.
