Handoff State Dump

Milestone State

• M1: Backend Implementation: DONE. Exposes PATCH /api/categories/:id/image endpoint.
• M2: MCP Tool Implementation: DONE. Exposes update_category_image tool schema and case handler.
• M3: Verification & Auditing: DONE. Workspace compiles cleanly and integration tests pass successfully.

Active Subagents

• None: All subagents have finished and reported back.

Pending Decisions

• Security Hardening: Reviewer flagged that categories routes do not utilize the adminOnly middleware protection. This is an existing codebase-wide design pattern for categories endpoints and should be addressed in a future task.

Remaining Work

• None: The request is fully implemented, verified, and audited.
